DRONE SURVEYING

Innovation Surveying aims to make drone mapping and surveying the first choice for contractors, civil engineers and developers. If it's taking the guess work out of bulk material estimation, improving contract and variation negotiation, recording measurable site progress or providing stunning and informative photography, Innovation Surveying will plan, execute and deliver your solution

Strategies & Plans

Every customer is unique. That’s why we customise every one of our plans to fit your needs exactly. Whether it’s a quick residential photography shoot or miles of volumetric infrastructure survey, we’ll sit down with you, listen to your requests, and prepare a customised plan. Our service includes the following steps;

  • Initial Task Form - Taking the basic information for your project and what you expect from your survey. We will discuss and confirm the best solutions and time scales for your specific needs.
  • Pre-site Survey - Innovation Surveying will then take the Initial Task Form information and complete a detailed desktop survey of your project site. This will include liaising with ATC to request clearance to fly (depending on the location and airspace classification), please take into consideration that gaining permission to fly can in some instances take 28 days.
  • Onsite Survey - On the day we will complete an onsite survey to confirm that all is as expected based on the pre-site survey. Areas will be cordoned as necessary and all involved with the flight will be briefed.
  • It is important to note that we are unable to fly in strong winds or rain, your project will be planned to avoid adverse weather but may need to be rescheduled if conditions are not as expected.
